  As we were checking into the lodge I noticed the restaurant was closed. A staff member was cleaning the tables and asked if we had eaten dinner yet which I replied we had not. She asked if we wanted to eat and that they would go ahead and serve us dinner and the desert. We gladly took them up on it as we hadn't eaten since 10:30 in the morning and it was now 8:30 p.m. even though I know I was very hungry I have to say this is the best food I've had in a very long time from a restaurant. They had a buffet still availablen and was hot with home-cooked flavor. They even made us the salad because all of that have been put away. They certainly went out of their way and the staff was very courteous with the best hospitality and we will definitely be back when we travel this direction again. Also the rooms in the lodge were super clean and very stylish. Very well priced for what you get.
